Am 22. Juni begrüßte unsere Schule einen ihrer erfolgreichsten Tennispros: Felix Schüller, welcher seit 3 Jahren an der Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, im Tennisteam spielt und Business Management studiert. Begleitet wurde Felix von seiner französischen Freundin Pauline, ebenfalls Tennisspielerin an einer amerikanischen Universität.
I was delighted to welcome both to a French lesson with my 7th formers as well as to my optional English 6th graders. They told the students interesting facts about university life in the USA and the role sport plays therein. Dans le cours de français, on parlait également de sport tout en comparant la vie et la culture européenne à la culture américaine. Thank you, guys : your visit was a nice break and a genuine enrichment !
Merci, Pauline et bonne chance pour l’année prochaine et ton travail comme « tennis coach ». And who knows: we might meet again in Amstetten one of these years.
